Wedding Guide

Hi, I'm so happy you're here! Congratulations on your engagement... now it's time to plan a wedding! This is one of the most exciting times of your life and I couldn't be happier to capture these memories for you. I will be there for you through all of the planning, the ups and downs, from your shower and rehearsal, to the best day of your lives! We will go over all your must haves, allowing you to be totally present with your best friend. From the little details, photos with your favorite people, and all the moments in between. I am there for you in any way I can be!

You can use this guide to help you through the next steps of booking me as your wedding photographer! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I cannot wait to work together!

The process

After you inquire, I have sent you my availability. And now you're here with this guide! We can set up a call to get to know each other a little bit more. I will do a quick rundown of how I work a wedding day and I'll ask what you're envisioning! If you decide to move forward and book, I will ask for a few more details and send you a contract to sign and send back to me. A contract along with a non-refundable deposit will lock in your date!

We will keep in touch to talk about the details of your wedding throughout the whole planning process. I send out a detailed questionnaire to ask you all the things. The more detail you go into, the better I can get to know you, your day, and help plan the timeline down to the minute.

I make your timeline based around the time I know we'll need for photos and the times given to you for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I factor in the time it takes to travel and always add in a little buffer time. This is a huge help to keep everybody involved organized, knowing where to be and when to be there. I want to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible to be able to capture everything that will make up your wedding day, while allowing you to be fully present!

Once we finalize your timeline, you can send it out to your other vendors that way we are all on the same page.

It's here! It's the day you get to marry your person! And I get to spend the whole day with you from start to finish, capturing your love and everyone it's brought together! So here is a little rundown of the day.

Typically bride prep takes two hours. I show up to you and take some time with your details (these are anything sentimental to you for your wedding). During this, makeup and hair is usually wrapping up if they aren't already done. You get to just hang and vibe with your girls until I'm finished. If you're in matching robes or pajama sets, we can grab some fun shots of you all in those. Some fun additions are confetti poppers, a champagne spray, balloons, etc. Everybody will get dressed then you will get dressed with whoever your designated helper is or helpers are. We'll spend some time getting solo shots of you all dressed. After you're dressed, if you are exchanging a gift or letter/card with your fiancé, you will open/read it. Everything and anything that happens is a moment to be captured!

While I am at prep with you, my second will be at prep with your fiancé. As a groom, prep is an hour. As another bride, prep will mirror main prep and be two hours. I always say groom prep is just as important as bride prep. So the second will start with his details of the day. At this time everyone will get fully dressed. Your fiancé will be dressed in his pants and dress shirt, everything else will be put on with the photographer there to capture it. He will get ready with his designated helper which could be best man/men/dad and mom can come in to help as well! Just like you had time for solo shots, so will your fiancé. After everybody is ready, they'll be able to do some fun group photos together like a toast photo and some candids.

We will all be coming together, whether it's at your church ceremony or if we're doing a first look. We are going to spend roughly two hours for portraits between family photos, wedding party, and the two of you alone. Of course this is generalized. Some things that change this timing is how many family members both sides have, if we plan to do extended family photos during this time, and how big your wedding party is or if you have one at all.

During cocktail hour we try not to bother you so you can mingle, eat, and drink! We'll do a lap or two to get some photos of your guests and the food. For the most part this is the time we use to get ready for your reception; we get photos of the reception space, charge batteries if need be, make sure our gear is setup. Then before you know it, cocktail hour is over and it's time to party! We get photos of all the formalities, all the dancing, all the fun, and we are all letting loose. The more fun you both have, the more fun your guests are having with you and it shows in your photos!

We had the best day with you and we can't believe it's that time, but here we are. We say our goodbyes and pack up our gear to head out.

Your full gallery will be edited and delivered through an online gallery within 12-14 weeks from your event date. You will be able to download, share, and print these photos straight from your gallery! You can add albums on at any time. You pick your favorite photos from your day, I design your album with those photos, and once you approve it, it'll get sent out to be made. I always ask to be tagged/credited when you post your photos along with any other vendors you used. We all worked hard to bring your vision to life and it's the easiest way to be recognized for it!

Girl Behind The Lens

When I'm not shooting, I'm at home with my tiny best friends.

I'm a boy mom of four, I love being outdoors just as much as I love being cuddled up on the couch watching a movie, and I'd eat breakfast at any time of the day.
